Second round of the F.3000 Italian Championship and Euroseries 3000

Many new entries for Imola: Astromega, Facondini, Ippoliti, Rodriguez…

A month after the opening event in Adria, Euroseries 3000 and F.3000 Italian Championship are ready for the second round on the prestigious Imola track, the same one which, just acouple of weeks ago, hosted the F.1 World Championship. Fisichella Motor Sport arrives in Imola as leader in the Championship standings after the double win in Adria of Marco Bonanomi and Giacomo Ricci.

There will be 10 teams at Imola with 17 drivers, Astromega debuts in this season after skipping the first round as the team was competing in the A1 Grand Prix. The Avelon n. 11 car, used by Martini in Adria, is now for Fausto Ippoliti, former F.3 Italian Champion.

Another interesting feature is the entry of Roldan Rodriguez, the Spanish driver who will compete for the Minardi Team, after skipping the Adria weekend as he was taking part to the Spanish F.3 championship. Tuka Rocha, has found a seat in the Lola B99/50 prepared for him by VanniRacing.

Finally the Championship welcomes a new team, Facondini Racing, with Leandro Romano at the wheel of the Lola B99/50.
