The V8 powered cars always deliver a great night’s racing action at Wimbledon, as the drivers open up the car’s massive American engines to their full and put the heavy front bumpers to good use. With the prestigious London Championship title up for grabs, fans can expect to see some really fast and furious racing from the top drivers in the V8 formula.

Racing that does not involve extensive use of the front bumper will be provided by the Rookie Rods. The budget formula Rookie Rods are limited to 1300-1400cc engines providing very close racing from large grids of cars. Expect to see plenty of action as the drivers go all out to secure the London Championship on the night.

It will be back to full-contact action when the Bangers take to the track and to the air in a special ramp roll over competition and chained pairs racing. Anyone who has seen the Bangers in action knows that automotive anarchy reigns when they take to the track for their ‘normal’ racing. Add chained together cars, a ramp rollover and four a side team racing and the scene is set for some very serious damage before the night is over.
