The second race weekend of the rhino's GT Series will be a season highlight. The rhino's race cars will be the support act to the Le Mans Series on the Belgian track of Spa Francorchamps on May 12 - 14.
Two exciting races of the young GT series will take place on the famous circuit in the Ardennes, the 6.976 km long track which is favoured by almost all race drivers. The competitors are ready to beat the Ferrari 550 Maranello of the Wieth Racing Team which won the first two races. The black car, which goes into the history books as the first winner of the newly founded race series of the power cars, will have to cope with heavy competition.
A fine selection of cars will fight for the trophies in the ‚big’ EGT1 Class: Porsche, Stealth B6, V8SuperSTAR, Corvette, Oreca Viper, Marcos LM 600 and Ultima. Team Probst, with Thomas Probst and Norbert Pauels at the wheel of the Porsche 993 GT2 which took a second place at the first race at the Nürburgring, will fight for the lead just as Swiss Pierre von Mentlen (V8SuperSTAR), the Norwegian Haavard Lien (Corvette) or Dutchman Rob Knook (Stealth). Gottfried Grasser will join the battle for the first time with the Ultima GT1. The Austrian with the fast Italian co-pilot Fabio Mena was not able to compete in the first meeting due to engine damage.
In Class EGT2 it is Heinz Bert Wolters (Porsche GT3 RS) who is the man to beat. Will it be Peter van der Kolk with his Marcos Mantis or Kurt Thiim with the SwissRacing V8STAR who was unsuccessful last time due to a techncial problem? In Class EGT3 it will be a tight fight among the Porsche crowd. There is a full start grid so a couple of good fights on the track may be expected.

rhino's GT Party – fun in the evening
Also the rhino's GT Series sends out an invitation. With the rhino’s night on Saturday evening the GT Series shows that it is able to show exciting races but also to entertain the visitors. When the racing is over, the party starts at 1900 hrs.
Simon and Friends take car of the music, the bar keeper offers rhino's energy drinks in every variety - pure, on the rocks, or mixed with cool wodka, and hot girls show the Coyote Ugly-Animation. The entry is free.
On Sunday morning after the party the work starts early: The GT cars will enter the race track as early as 9.45 hrs.
