Reigning British F3 National Champion Salvador Duran set the fastest lap time on the opening day of the 2-day Snetterton test. 

The Mexican set his time in the morning session, with team mate James Walker posting the fastest lap of the slower afternoon session.  On the combined time sheets the two Hitech runners were split by Carlin Motorsport’s Christian Bakkerud, the only other driver apart from Duran to set a sub 62 second lap time.
