Neal wins Oulton race two

Matt Neal has won the second of yesterday's three Dunlop MSA British Touring Car Championship rounds at the Oulton Park circuit in Cheshire.

Neal, the reigning champion in his Team Halfords Honda, made a great start to move from fourth to first into the opening corner.

Neal then held a one-second lead to Vauxhall's Fabrizio Giovanardi to achieve his third win of the season - a result that further extends his championship lead ahead of this afternoon's third race at 16.10.

Italian Giovanardi took second - his best result since joining the BTCC. Third was race one winner, Neal's team-mate Gordon Shedden.

Neal's closest championship rival, Team RAC's Colin Turkington, finished a lap down after pitting to repair damage to his MG, but at least set a new lap record to score one bonus point.
