DIG Motorsports/JustRacing.com Ramps Up For Round Three At Mid-Ohio
BMWs Benefit From Six Weeks Of Intensive Development
With the transporter loaded and on its way across the country, DIG Motorsports finds itself in a stronger position heading into the third round of the SPEED World Challenge Touring Car series. Weeks of investment in both the drivetrains and suspensions of the #11 and #12 cars are set to pay dividends at the always-challenging Mid-Ohio Sports Car Course.
"My winning the B&M Sport Shifters Hole Shot Award at Sebring and Justin running as high as eighth at St Pete’s shows that we can produce the speed," team owner Jon Prall said. "The incredible amount of work we’ve put into the cars over the last six weeks should bring us the consistency we need to complement it."
DIG Motorsports has added the recent BMW minimum weight adjustment by SCCA Pro Racing to the aerodynamic, drivetrain, and suspension development carried out by one of the premier BMW tuners in North America to come up with a compelling package heading into the Mid-Ohio round of the Touring Car Championship.
"As a young team, we are building on our strengths and developing a foundation for excellence," Prall continued. "Join us at Mid-Ohio as we put the DIG Motorsports/JustRacing.com BMWs back on the track."
The Mid-Ohio round of the SPEED World Challenge Touring Car series will be broadcast on SPEED Channel on Saturday, May 27 at 8pm Eastern Time.
