"Monaco was a unique experience for me, I have never driven there before, in fact it was my first street race.
I took the practises very easy to give myself a chance to learn the circuit without making any mistakes as the armco's are very close to the edge of the track so at the start of the session I was driving super safe.In qualifying I had not had the chance to warm my tyres up before the session was red flagged. Then once we got running again I braked late for a corner, hit a bump and spun but luckily did not hit anything. The car stalled but I was able to get a jump start as the track was down hill at that point. At that point I pitted to swap cars with Giorgio as he had technical problems with his car so I didn't really have a chance to get a competitive lap in before the race.I drove round the chaos on the first lap at turn 1 and drove my own race from then on until Di Grassi hit me from behind at the chicane which put me into a spin on lap 12. So all in all a disappointing weekend from my point of view.I look forward to going to Silverstone, a great circuit and a second home race for me."
