Jordan passes driving test!
Andrew Jordan passed his driving test this morning (Thursday 8 June), just 15 days after reaching his 17th birthday. Although he has been racing a 550bhp four-wheel drive Ford Focus Rallycross supercar this season, it was not until today that he could drive legally on the road! "He already wants to borrow his sister's car," reported his father Mike. After just five driving lessons over the last 15 days, the Sutton Coldfield youngster passed his driving test at the first attempt. He has been learning to drive on the road in a Ford Ka, with around a tenth of the power of the Ford Focus he has been driving in the Quaife MSA British Rallycross Championship. Now that he has been able to tear up his 'L' plates, Jordan will focus on resuming his rallycross season at the Anglesey circuit in North Wales on Sunday 18 June.Andrew Jordan is supported by John Guest, Shell, Pirtek, Quaife Engineering and Bill Gwynne Rally School.
