Dunlop performance to boost youngest ever Brit at Le Mans 24 Hour race Dunlop have confirmed their support of Ed Morris, who is days away from his ambition to become the youngest ever competitor in the world famous Le Mans 24 Hour Race.
Ed, who turned 18 this month, has an outstanding track record in motorsport. With success in karting and junior rallycross, he moved to the highly competitive AVO Ginetta Championship in 2004 at the age of 16. Racing on Dunlop tyres in this series for identical sportscars, Ed showed his skills by leading races and setting fastest laps. This is where his ability first came to Dunlop's attention.

The Maidstone Grammar School pupil, who comes from Bredgar near Sittingbourne, had sports prototype racing experience from racing in the Britsports series with a Jade racecar in 2005, before entering the Le Mans Endurance series this year. In his first race this year, he stunned the sportscar racing establishment by taking third place in his 210mph Courage-Judd. In initial testing on his first visit to Le Mans, Ed was 5th fastest during his stint in the LMP2 sports prototype class setting the youngster up for a promising Le Mans race debut on 17th/18th June.
