WSbR - Misano comes into view

Situated just a few miles from the beaches of Rimini, the Misano circuit will hold the third World Series by Renault meeting in what promises to be a holiday atmosphere. Saturday looks set to be a particularly intense day with on-track action continuing until 10pm and a showcase by Max Gazzé, who will also be getting behind the wheel of the Renault F1 World Championship-winning car!

Max Gazzé in the Renault R25!The singer Max Gazzé, motorsport enthusiast and long-time friend of Giancarlo Fisichella, will follow in the footsteps of David Hallyday last year in Le Mans and get behind the wheel of a Renault F1 car for a few laps of the circuit. Max will also seize the opportunity to delight fans with a few songs on the stage being set up for the occasion by Radio 105. Jonathan Cochet will be another who will be taking part – not on stage, mind you, but in a more familiar setting – in the cockpit of the World Championship-winner!

New Clio Cup: special guest star! After the Renault F1 Team demonstration, the highlight of Saturday's show will be the New Clio Cup race scheduled at 8.30pm. But I've earned this and I just want to make a good impression at the wheel of an F1 car".

Pippa and Tom in a scrape…Two drivers in Eurocup Formula Renault 2.0 had to pay a visit to Istanbul's ultra-modern hospital facilities. After suffering an injury to his left foot at the start of testing, Tom Dillmann was finally able to take part in the meeting after initial fears of a fracture! Suffering from shock after a violent collision with Frédéric Vervisch in race two, Pippa Mann also had to be taken to hospital for some checkup X-rays. Mégane Trophy in the Champions Motor RaceThe TP Compétition / Moteurs Huger team took its Mégane Trophies to Naples on June 4 to line up for the Champions Motor Race in the city's San Paolo stadium. The drivers taking part, such as Tonio Liuzzi or Mika Salo, were simply delighted! But the highlight of the event was the duel between Giancarlo Fisichella and Max Biaggi. Fisico was of course at the wheel of a Mégane Trophy while Max rode a Super Motard racing machine.
