at DoningtonTeam RPM will rejoin the Porsche Carrera Cup GB at Donington Park on 29/30 July when Alex Mortimer races the team's car in rounds 11 and 12 of the championship."I'm very keen to be back into the Carrera Cup and this is an excellent chance for us to get Alex out in the car," says team boss Robin Mortimer. His son Alex raced in a couple of Carreras Cup races in both 2004 and 2005 but will now race the team's 997-model 911GT3 Cup car at Donington."I'm really looking forward to it," says Mortimer. "I want to get back out and race against my old friend Phil Quaife in the pro-am category!"Although the arrangement is currently just for the two Donington races, the team is looking at the possibility of contesting other Carrera Cup weekends during the rest of the season.
