More TV for Heritage GT

The next two rounds of the Heritage Grand Touring Car Challenge will benefit from TV coverage as the series heads for high-profile races at Brands Hatch during the F3/GT meeting on 26/27 August and the BTCC meeting on 23/24 September.Following on from the welcome television sponsorship by Marston Hotels of the series' first visit to Snetterton in July, Mike Youles has concluded arrangements whereby ODL Securities’ support of the HGTCC has enabled the coverage of both BTCC support rounds through the offices of John Hindhaugh. This covers the recent August 12/13 Snetterton meeting and the Brands Hatch September date. Meanwhile, support from First Choice Coffee will enable the Brands Hatch Grand Prix circuit event on the August Bank Holiday weekend to be filmed. Both races at each BTCC event will be recorded for screening on Sky Sports, and the Sunday race from the GT meeting. For the next round the majority of competitors will be provided and fitted with First Choice Coffee windscreen banners by Heritage Racing Support and the races titled 'The First Choice Coffee Heritage Grand Touring Car Challenge'.The following races will be titled 'The ODL Securities Heritage Grand Touring Car Challenge'.At the end of the season it is proposed to produce an edited highlights video, with commentary by Tony Jardine, of the series for sports, saloon and GT cars from the 1960s and 1970s.For more information on the Heritage GTCC, please visit the website at: www.heritagegtcc.co.uk
