DAYTONA BEACH, Fla. (August 21, 2006) – Representatives of Featherlite Luxury Coaches announced today that the company will honor the 2006 team champions of the Grand American Rolex Sports Car Series presented by Crown Royal Special Reserve with the free use of a motorcoach for next season’s Rolex 24 At Daytona. The awards will be presented at the season-ending Rolex Champions Banquet at Mandalay Bay, Las Vegas, September 4th.
The luxury coaches, awarded to team owners of the Daytona Prototype and GT team champions, will be delivered to Daytona International Speedway once the teams acquire the space for the event weekend from the track. A representative from the company will be onsite to set up the coach and go over the operating instructions with the team owner. The 2007 Rolex 24 At Daytona weekend is set for January 25-28.
