As a result of the merger between Telewest and ntl earlier this year, Motors TV will be relocating on the ntl platform, to channel number 545.
The change will take effect from 6 September 2006 for existing ntl customers and from 26 September 2006 for CWC customers.
The channel numbering system to be adopted follows that developed by Telewest, where channels are grouped together by genre, resulting in a logical and easy to follow pattern. Motors TV and others sports channels will be housed within the 500-559 range.
The content of Motors TV will be unaffected by the change and it will continue to offer the widest selection of live motorsport from premier Global series, including DTM, NASCAR, BTCC and the Le Mans Series.
It will also continue to highlight an extensive range of other formulae on both two and four wheels, including the Andros Trophy ice racing winter series, the AMA Superbike and MotoCross series, drag racing, jet boating and its own range of bespoke programming.
Motors TV will remain at channel 413 on the Sky satellite platform.
