16 year old Bianca Steiner, from Austria, who is competing in the F. Renault Junior1.600 championship - where she is fifth in the rankings in spite of the many technical problems,made her debut on a much more powerful F.3000 car yesterday in Magione.

After gaining some confidence doing some installation laps with her FormulaRenault car, she put herself at the wheel of the Lola B02/50, protagonist of the Euroseries3000 and of the F.3000 Italian Championship.

She covered, 60 laps of the circuit in the morning, without any problem andconstantly improved her lap time to finally stop the chrono on 1’07’’54

“I really had fun.” told Steiner at the end of the session, “The car did not fall short of my highexpectations and in fact I hope to take part in another test soon. Today I have concentrated my efforts onlearning the track and the car and I can say that I’m satisfacted also because it hasn’t beenphysically so hard so I guess I can significantly improve the next time.”Coloni Motorsport, which has always paid a lot of attention  promising young drivers, was reallyhappy to give this opportunity to the young Austrian and hints that there could be soonnew opportunities for Bianca.
