Van der Drift & Albuquerque penalizedChris Van der Drift (JD Motorsport) and Filipe Albuquerque (Motopark Academy) have both been issued with a 25-second penalty after race 1 for having obstructed another competitor, Bertrand Baguette, at the start. Sébastien Buemi inherits the victory as a result.

Van der Drift and Albuquerque's driving from the start has been deemed to be dangerous by the Stewards who imposed a time penalty similar to a ‘drive-through' penalty on the two race leaders.

The podium places now go to Sébastien Buemi (Motopark Academy), Bertrand Baguette (Epsilon Euskadi) and Kasper Andersen (JD Motorsport).
