SUPER AGURI F1 TEAM enjoyed an encouraging second day at the Formula One test at the Silverstone Circuit.

Sakon Yamamoto commenced the team’s driving duties when he concluded the morning’s planned aerodynamics programme and completed his shorter Bridgestone tyre runs. Sakon set a fastest lap time of 1:23.699 during his 27-lap session.

Takuma Sato joined the SAF1 Team at Silverstone in the  afternoon and ran through the longer tyre runs of the team’s Bridgestone tyre programme. He completed a total of 40 laps in the SA06 and set a fastest lap time of 1:21.969.

Takuma will conclude the team’s test on its final day at Silverstone today.
