Somewhat inspired by the groundbreaking Shelby Cobras and Sunbeam Tigers, racers Rob Beck and Geoff Richardson shoehorned a NASCAR-prepared 7 litre V8 from a Ford Galaxie into the nimble frame of an E-Type, and thus the EGal hatched.
The EGal's first outing was in 1964 at Silverstone, where it won both the sports car and Formula Libre events. Raced week-in and week-out by Rob Beck and Barrie "Whizzo" Williams, the EGal won more races than not, competing at tracks, hillclimbs, and speed trials until 1968.
The EGal is currently undergoing restoration at CKL Developments in preparation for her sensational historic racing debut!
