Herts Hot Rod Battle

Spedeworth South brings the incredibly rapid 2.0 Hot Rods to Bovingdon Raceway to contest the Hertfordshire Championship on Sunday, October 1st at 1.30pm.

The purpose built and highly tuned 2.0 Hot Rods test their drivers' skill and courage to the maximum as the cars power around the Herts circuit with mere inches between each other and the very unforgiving safety fence, which can turn one of the lightweight machines into scrap metal in seconds. That skill and courage will be tested to the max on the day as the drivers go all out to add the Hertfordshire Championship trophy to their silverware cabinet.

While the 2.0 Hot Rod drivers will be going out of their way to avoid contacting other cars, the Bangers will be doing just the opposite as the drivers plough into each other in Round 8 of the ongoing track championship.

Future stars of the short circuit world will be showcasing their talent when the Ministox, piloted by 11-16 year olds, take to the track.

The Grand Prix Midgets make a guest appearance at Bovingdon where they will be competing in the Graham Hill Memorial race.

With yet another great value for money racing programme, free parking, and a great view of all the action from high-banked spectator areas, Bovingdon (situated off B4005 Bovingdon, Nr Hemel Hempstead, Herts, on the airfield complex) will provide another action packed day of racing when the green flag waves on October 1st.
