Currently leading the way in his Team Halfords Honda Integra, Matt Neal will look to secure his historic second successive title - which would make him the first man in the modern era, and first since 1986/87, to claim back-to-back titles - although he won't have it all his own way as the UK's top motor racing series brings it's season to a close.

Jason Plato closed the gap to 35 points at Brands Hatch and will be doing all he can to try and steal the title, especially as he will also be aiming for maximum points for SEAT in the battle with Vauxhall for the manufacturers' crown, while Team RACs Colin Turkington could also still become champion.

With over 20 cars lining up the grid, the drama that has accompanied the BTCC around the country since April will lead to one of Silverstone's most exciting weekends of the year - while support action from Formula BMW, Formula Renault, Renault Clio, Seat Cupra Cup and the Porsche Carrera Cup will ensure it is a race meeting not to be missed.
