The Turbo Dynamics turbo charged Litchfield/PowerStation Subaru has won Europe’s first Time Attack series - the circuit based motorsport dedicated to the finest professionally tuned vehicles.
The high performance turbo, developed in partnership with performance car tuners PowerStation, ensured more power, more speed and better handling for the super tuned Subaru Impreza Type-25. The 600bhp vehicle was driven by Phil Keen and competed head to head against some of the best tuned cars in Europe over a single timed lap.
The tense final battle took place in front of packed stands on Donnington Park's 1.9mile national circuit. The Subaru cinched a time of 1:17:025 beating the nearest rival by 1.217 seconds and taking the Championship victory.
The Subaru's impressive laptime also managed to beat all of the open wheel competitors (by over 0.8sec) who were running lightweight Atoms and turbo charged Daxs.
The Time Attack series, which started life in Japan, took place over five rounds in Rockingham, Silverstone (twice), Knockhill with the grand final at Donnington Park.
