World wise
This year’s World Series by Renault visits the Circuit de Catalunya near Barcelona for the second year, bringing the series of one-make races to Spain. The package is designed to provide exceptional entertainment and headlining the bill is the FR3.5 class of single-seaters. The series is seen as a stepping stone into the pinnacle of single-seater racing, Formula One. And reigning champion Robert Kubica has proved the series’ credentials, with a storming performance at BMW Sauber, replacing Jacques Villeneuve.

Street Life
Streetfighters looks into the underground world of the extreme road motorbike riders, as they ‘translate’ the tricks and exploits they see their heroes, like Travis Pastrana and other Freestyle MotoX riders perform onto the open roads. Going under the names of Team X-Treem, New York’s Finest or Reality Racing, they idolise the exploits of ‘Ghost Rider’, a mystical rider who films himself travelling through small towns at over 200kph and wheelying through traffic.

Lone star wars
The NASCAR Busch series heads for Texas this weekend, to the Texas Motor Speedway. The competition this year has been fierce but Kevin Harvick did enough, including seven race wins, to clinch the title with four races to go. So now, with the pressure off, expect some classic nose-to-tail racing around the 1.5-mile quad oval. Motors TV will be showing the complete race live, from the Lone Star state.
