Andrew Jordan will return to the Croft circuit in North Yorkshire this weekend (28/29 October) to take part in the Shannon Holdings Rallycross Superprix.
Fresh from a commanding victory in the final round of the British Rallycross Championship at the same track yesterday (22 October), Andrew will switch to a Saab 9-3 run by veteran competitor Per Eklund for the international event.
The change of car has been arranged by Will Gollop, entrant of the Ford Focus that Andrew has raced this season. As the Superprix was not on Andrew's original schedule, Gollop is away on holiday, but has arranged with Eklund for Andrew to drive one of the Swedish drivers' Saabs. The car will have backing from Canterbury Saab for the one-off event.
"I'd like to thank Will for putting together the deal for me to race the Saab at the Superprix," said Andrew. "My first chance to drive the car will be at the media day at Croft next week, and I'm aiming to draw on Per's experience with the car. It's a non-sequential left-hand drive car so it's another chance to learn."
The Superprix will have extensive TV coverage on Sky, and provisional transmission times include:
