The  GP2  series  is  saddened  to  hear  of  the  passing  last  night  of  Steeve  Marcel,  32,  who  had been battling with cancer.

Steeve  engineered  Nico  Rosberg and ART Grand Prix to their double championship win in the inaugural year of the series in 2005. Despite his illness, Steeve attended a number of GP2 series races in 2006 to support his colleagues and friends at the team.

Our thoughts are with Steeve’s family and friends at this difficult time.
