The Opening round of the Britcar winter series was held on Donington Park on Saturday the 4th of November if cold but dry and bright conditions.

Adam would qualify for the 2 hour race, and set a 1:11:427 which was good enough for Pole Position just ahead of the Aston Martin DBR9s in second.

For the race Phil Burton took the start and setting fast consistent lap times managed to come into pit in a strong 2nd place behind the DBR9s, as Adam climbed aboard the JMH racing Ferrari the Dunlop tyre technician noticed the right hand rear tyre was low on pressure, so the team had to change the wheel and Adam lost about 1 minute during the extended stop, eventually rejoining still in 2nd place but a long way down.

Over the next hour Adam managed to lap around 0.4s quicker than his Pole Position time ( 1:11:054 ) but was unable to progress any further up to the order and came home in 2nd place.
