Sam Edwards has been confirmed as runner-up in the pro-am category within the Porsche Carrera Cup GB.Edwards was initially excluded from the results of round 18 at Brands Hatch on 24 September and handed a 40-point penalty following a technical infringement. That penalty was subsequently appealed to the MSA and further to an MSA hearing, the Court ruled that the Appeal be upheld and the penalty under Regulation O.3.5.1 (c) be deleted.The revised points table now puts Edwards into second place in the pro-am category, behind winner Phil Quaife and ahead of Nigel Rice. Edwards now earns £4000 for finishing runner-up.Edwards also moves into eighth place in the final overall Carrera Cup standings. The amended points table is attached. The position and points in the Carrera Cup teams' championship are unaffected.
