FEATURING…

2nd Le Touquet Enduropale, France

Remember this date: Sunday 11th February! On this day the biggest motorbike race in the world will start with more than 1000 riders in front of 300 000 spectators! The Touquet Enduropale, a legacy of the Touquet Enduro which first took place in 2006, has proven that an event can evolve without disappearing. The organisers have cleverly combined ecological and sporting challenges and, with the support of the Le Touquet town and the French Motorcycle Federation (FFM), they have guaranteed the future of a race which every enduro rider dreams of winning. Tradition has prevailed and the beaches of the Opal Coast provide the theatre for the first major event of the season.

Motors TV follows in a similar vein, the Enduropale kicking off the season of live events with entire and exclusive coverage of the race. For more than three hours you can watch the competitors fight every ditch and rut as they struggle with the ever-challenging sand. Last year’s victor, Timotei Potisek (Honda), returns in 2007 desperate to defend his title amid a huge cast of rivals eager to steal it from him.  Catch it all on Motors TV.

Sunday 11th February from 11h45.

NOT TO BE MISSED!

Andros Ice Racing Trophy: Finale and Super Finale

The Andros Trophy concludes in fine style with a visit to the Superbesse ski resort for this year’s finale. The competition is so close that it is impossible to predict a favourite, although one would expect the Toyotas, with Alain Prost, Olivier Panis and Bertrand Balas behind the wheel, to be battling for victory among other leading contenders such as Franck Lagorce, who drives for Fiat.

Following the finale, the circus will head towards Saint-Dié-des-Vosges for the Super Finale which, although not counting towards the championship, will of course be an amazing event jam packed with action. Don’t miss it!

Superbesse: Wednesday 7th February from 18h00

Saint-Dié-des-Vosges: Wednesday 14th February from 18h00

World Superbike Championship - Preview

The bad boy of bike racing is back! ‘Mad’ Max Biaggi returns this year on an Alstare-prepared Suzuki, marking him out already as one of the favourites for the Superbike World Championship. Biaggi will be a tremendous asset to the Suzuki team in their fight against reigning champions, Ducati, and their star Australian rider, Troy Bayliss.

The entire 2007 season will be broadcast on Motors TV and coverage kicks off with this preview show.

Saturday 17th February from 16h00

Dubaï 24 Hours

Porsche GT3s, BMW M3s, even Seat Cupra Cups and Lotus Exiges… this is the second running of the Dubaï 24 Hours, featuring the return of none other than the official Motors TV car. Taking its lead from another magical 24 hour race held annually at the Nürburgring in Germany, the Dubai 24 hours uses engine power differences, as well as a highly varied field of cars and teams, to guarantee a superb show.

Saturday 3rd February from 15h00

Red Sea Powerboat Rally

Occasionally somebody will conjure a bizarre yet brilliant idea! And offering the competitors of the Offshore World Championship the chance to take part in a 1000km endurance race – akin to a sea-based version of the Dakar Rally – is one such idea! The course forms a circle between Sharm El Sheik and Sharm El Sheik via the Red Sea and is set to be an incredible challenge that is well worth watching.
