INDIANAPOLIS, Friday, Jan. 19, 2007 -- The Indianapolis Motor Speedway Food & Beverage Department is accepting orders for the Brickyard Box Lunch, a complete, satisfying meal that fans can enjoy during the race.
The popular Box Lunch Program allows fans to order a tasty, filling lunch before the Indianapolis 500, United States Grand Prix or Allstate 400 at the Brickyard, and pick it up on Race Day at the Speedway.
Brickyard Box Lunches come complete with a fresh-made sandwich or chef’s salad and a delicious fried chicken breast, along with snacks and dessert. There are four main course options available:
•Ham-and-cheese sandwich
•Turkey-and-cheese sandwich
•Italian sub sandwich
•Speedway Special chef salad with ranch dressing
Lunches cost $13.95 each. A reusable collectible souvenir cooler, with the famous Indianapolis Motor Speedway “Wing and Wheel” logo, is available for $19.95 and includes a choice of six beverages. The cooler does not include a box lunch. An Official Souvenir Program also can be ordered separately for $10.
Box lunches, coolers and souvenir programs can be ordered from www.brickyardboxlunch.com or by calling the IMS Food & Beverage Department at (317) 492-6422 to request an order form. Mail orders must include full payment with a cashier’s check, money order (U.S. funds only) or a credit card number. Personal checks will not be accepted.
Once the order has been processed, a voucher will be mailed for each lunch, cooler or program ordered. The voucher must be presented at the pick-up location marked on the back of the voucher. All orders must be picked up on Race Day at the assigned location during scheduled hours. No exchanges or refunds will be permitted.
The ordering deadline is May 15 for the Indianapolis 500, June 5 for the United States Grand Prix and July 17 for the Allstate 400 at the Brickyard.
