Less than two weeks to go for the Silverstone January Sale - Up to 12.5% off British Grand Prix tickets
F1 fans have less than two weeks - until 31 January - to make the most of some fantastic savings on tickets for one of the UK’s biggest sporting events of the year, the 2007 FORMULA 1™ British Grand Prix (6-8 July 2007). And with several grandstands already sold out, the message from Silverstone is loud and clear - book early to avoid disappointment.
Silverstone’s Early Booking Offer provides savings of up to 12.5% off tickets for one the big Blue Riband events of the British summer, and with British drivers making up almost 20% of the F1 start grid, this year’s British Grand Prix is turning out to be one of the most eagerly anticipated in recent years. Not since 2002 have the British public been able to get behind four British drivers, and circuit bosses are expecting an unbelievable atmosphere as Jenson Button, David Coulthard, Lewis Hamilton and Anthony Davidson take on the best drivers in the world at their home Grand Prix. Richard Phillips, Managing Director of Silverstone Circuits Limited, commented,
“It’s fantastic that we’ve got four British drivers to get behind, and while Jenson Button and David Coulthard have experienced it all before, the 8 July will be a very big day for both Lewis Hamilton and Anthony Davidson. One thing’s for sure – they can expect a fantastic reception from the Silverstone crowd.”
Phillips continued,
“Fans planning on coming to the British Grand Prix really should make the most of our Early Booking Offer which closes at the end of January. Tickets are available at considerably reduced rates, but we’d also urge fans to book early if they want to guarantee seats in specific locations. The grandstands in Pits Straight B, Luffield C and Copse D are already sold out, so fans need to book early to avoid disappointment.”
Three day tickets for this year’s British Grand Prix are available from as little as £99 for adults (£50 for children*) – effectively £33 per day – and, as in 2006, all tickets will be transferable. Fans are also encouraged to take advantage of Silverstone’s online booking facility at www.silverstone.co.uk, enabling them to book tickets for the British Grand Prix 24 hours a day, seven days a week. There’s also the added benefit of not having to pay booking fees when purchasing tickets online.
