QuickSilver’s newly developed ‘Sports’ exhaust system for the Cooper SR56 is designed to let the 4 cylinder turbo engine breathe more freelyand sound great. Dyno results taken during testing showed up to 35bhpperformance increase. QuickSilver can offer a choice of tail pipes forthe Cooper that give your Mini an individual and assertive look.QuickSilver’s recommended retail price is £396 + Vat.
The QuickSilver team has engineered the ‘Sports’ system’s internaldesign to allow the volume and flow to increase in proportion with rpm.This provides the engine with a deeper tone at low engine speeds risingto a unique, higher pitched and crisper exhaust note at higher rpm.
Attention to detail has always been a hallmark of QuickSilver productsand this is no exception. Using Type 304 austenitic stainless steel, thepipes are mandrel bent to keep a constant internal diameter throughoutthe length ensuring an even flow of exit gases.
