Automotive PR launches first blog

London-based automotive communications agency, Automotive PR, has launched what it believes is the sector’s first PR agency blog today (5 February 2007). Representing a wide variety of clients and covering a broad range of motor industry products and services, Automotive PR’s blog promises to offer a daily insight into the workings of the automotive industry, as well as becoming a forum for industry news and events.

Automotive PR is Europe’s leading specialist automotive communications agency and works on behalf of a range of clients from motor manufacturers and multi-national industry suppliers to motor dealers and small privately owned companies. The company undertakes a range of services but its principal specialisation is in developing and managing effective media relations programmes on behalf of its clients.

Martin Hayes, Managing Director of Automotive PR explains: “Here at Automotive PR we are always looking for inventive and effective methods of developing good communications practice in our industry sector – on behalf of both our clients and the media who cover them. Through our new blog, we aim to give readers an insight into the agency – who we are, what we’ve done and where we’re going – while offering thoughts and opinions on industry topics from a new perspective. We’ll emphatically not be using the blog site as a promotional tool – it’s designed to stimulate two-way communications about issues of the day.”

“All of our team - now numbering 10 - will be writing entries for the blog site, and while we all share a passion for the automotive industry, we are interested in different areas and definitely have some differing opinions on certain things in both our private and working lives!”
