Hanley will be looking to challenge for the title with Prema Renault Driver Development announced its list of drivers for the 2007 season on Wednesday. Ben Hanley will once again be part of the squad. For his second season in the World Series, the young British driver will be driving for Prema Powerteam. After coming home as the winner in Misano in 2006, he will be one of the challengers for this year's title.
Molina and Pons join forces In 2006, Miguel Molina divided his time between the Spanish F3 Championship (6th) and World Series Formula Renault 3.5. In the six races which he drove for GD Racing, the young Catalonian showed potential that he will be looking to confirm with Pons Racing in 2007.
Pasquale di Sabatino joins GD Racing The 2005 Italian Formula Renault 1.6 Champion, Pasquale di Sabatino took a big gamble by taking part in the second half of the World Series 2006 season. Though he may not have made a huge impact, the young Italian nonetheless clocked up some valuable kilometres in preparation for 2007. He will join a GD Racing team keen to return to top form.
Richard Philippe makes the move to Europe and Fortec While some French drivers tend to cut their teeth in Europe before trying their luck across the pond, Richard Philippe is doing just the reverse. The Formula BMW USA 2005 Champion and younger brother of Nelson Philippe spent his 2006 season in Champ Car Atlantic. At only 17 years of age, he will be a youthful addition to the new Fortec Motorsport team.
