MOTORSPORT ACADEMY TO EXHIBIT AT SCOTTISH MOTORSPORT SHOW, LANARK, FEB 24-25 – STAND NO. 7
The Motorsport Academy returns to Scotland this weekend (February 24-25), where representatives will be on hand to offer advice on a range of topics including: education, careers and employment opportunities within the motorsport industry.
The UK is currently pre-eminent in the field of motorsport engineering. The aim of the Motorsport Academy is to ensure it remains so, by actively helping the industry attract, recruit and develop staff with exactly the world-class skills and expertise it requires. It is a partnership between the Motorsport Industry Association (MIA) and internationally renowned automotive education and training provider Carter & Carter plc, with funding from Motorsport Development UK (MDUK).
Following a highly successful launch workshop at CA Models in Stirling last November (plus four similar events south of the border), the Motorsport Academy has gone from strength to strength and was very visible at January’s Autosport International Show at the NEC, where renowned Scottish racer David Leslie ran a series of motorsport engineering master-classes on the Motorsport Academy stand – suitably aided by a Formula Renault racecar and students from Oxford & Cherwell College.
