V8 Supercars return
Can Rick Kelly defend his drivers’ title for Holden? Will Ford retain the manufacturers’ crown? How will the new points system affect the series? All these questions are about to be answered as the new V8 Supercar Championship kicks off in Adelaide with Round One of the 2007 series, the Clipsal 500. Controversy surrounded Kelly’s title win last year, a clash in the final round between his brother Todd and main rival Craig Lowndes ultimately helping to clinch the championship. So he is sure to be keen to stamp his authority on the series and retain his crown this time around. However Lowndes (Ford) is out for revenge, while 2005 champion Russell Ingall (Ford) is hungry for more glory, meaning the title race is wide open. What is certain, however, is that the most exciting Touring Car Championship in the world is back and that Motors TV will be at every round in 2007, bringing you all the action.
