The RAC will underline its support of the 2007 Porsche Carrera Cup GB by providing additional cash awards for the teams and drivers competing in the championship.At each of the 10 race weekends, a panel of judges from the Carrera Cup GB organisation will select the 'RAC driver of the weekend' and the 'RAC team of the weekend'.The chosen driver will collect a cheque for £500 and the chosen team will win £1000 in recognition of particular efforts, outstanding success or sporting behaviour. The winning team and driver will be selected following the second race of each Carrera Cup weekend.In addition, Michelin will again provide a free set of tyres for each race weekend. The winner of the tyres will be chosen by lottery, with the draw being made before the start of pre-race testing.
