Latest Brembo calipers arrive at Triple P

Performance specialist takes delivery of versatile four-pot monoblock calipers

Power and Performance Products (Triple P) has taken the wraps off Brembo's brand- new four-pot aluminium monoblock brake caliper, specifically designed for use in conjunction with six-pot monoblock calipers from the Gran Turismo (GT) range.

Until now, a four-pot caliper option has not been available in the GT range (big brake conversion kits for the serious enthusiast and track day user). But design engineers at Brembo's headquarters in Italy have just put the finishing touches to a range of brand-new four-pot applications that fit a range of bigger-than- normal discs - between 355mm and 380mm.

By marrying a set of frontal six-pot monoblock calipers with four-pot monoblock calipers on the rear of a car, motorists can enjoy the benefits of more balanced braking characteristics as the risk of flex and distortion is eliminated under braking loads.

As the official importer and distributor of Brembo High Performance braking products in to the UK aftermarket, Power and Performance Products has a wide range of new four-pot applications available. These include products for various BMW, Mercedes-Benz, Porsche, Ferrari, Mitsubishi Lancer, Range Rover, Dodge Viper, Chevrolet Corvette, Chrysler 300C, and Toyota Supra models.
