DONINGTON PARK DELIVERS THE ACTION

Changeable weather conditions treated fans to some action-packed racing today at Donington Park for the Unipart F3/GT Festival, with both the Avon Tyres British GT Championship and the Lloyds TSB British F3 International Series delivering some classic moments.

In British GT, the Barwell Motorsport team claimed the top three spots, with local team-mates Guy Harrington and Ben de Zille Butler in third position, and Leicester-based Butler attributed his superb weekend to Donington Park’s great atmosphere.  

“The whole weekend has gone brilliantly,” said the 30-year-old who drives an Aston Martin DBRS9. “Both Guy and I found driving the track a real joy and everyone at Donington Park has been really supportive. We got our first win of the season yesterday and today’s third position finishes off a great weekend.”
