The Montmelò circuit will provide the backdrop for the final round of the 2007 Formula 3000 season which will now visit six Formula 1 tracks.

The race will be part of one of the most prestigious week-ends on the Catalunya circuit and will also see on the track the Grand Touring cars of the GT Open championship.

A big crowd of spectators is predicted for this event which will also be live broadcasted in many countries

The Barcelona round will replace the one in Misano, which had to be canceled as there was noF.I.A. international homologation of the circuit. In the beginning there seemed to be  a chanceto reschedule the event this moth in Magione, but this option was soon dropped.

In the meanwhile the Formula 3000 teams will go to Hungaroring for a two-days testing and will then move to Valencia for an other practice session.
