F.3000 Hungaroring Test - day 2

MARTINI FASTEST IN SECOND TEST DAY

In the second F.3000 test day in Budapest, Oliver Martini (RC Motorsport), thanks to its experience on the Hungarian track, managed to set the fastest time, an impressive 1’34’’381.

Despite some rain early in the morning, almost all the drivers were able toimprove from Day 1 with six of them  better than last year pole position(1’36”101).

Only  Bennani, could not improve as he was involved in an accident at the beginning of the session and could therefore complete only a few laps.

Behind Martini, Diego Nunes from Minardi put in an excellent performance, stopping the clock atjust two tenth from the current leader of the Euroseries 3000 rankings. IWithin half a secondwere Danielsson (Elk Motorsport), Rigon (Minardi) and Razia (Fisichella Motor Sport).The 17 years old driver from Ecuador, Sebastian Merchan, recorded good lap times, gainingexperience for the next race which will be held at the Hungaroring on the 17th June.#

There will be another test day in Valencia on the 30 May.
