After being forced to retire in the Hockenheim season opener through no fault of her own and the fair to middling weekend at Oschersleben, Susie is travelling to the next DTM race at the EuroSpeedway Lausitz with new hope.

“After the disappointing weekend at Oschersleben I now want to clearly improve and finally fight for points,“ announced the quick Scotswoman in the TV Spielfilm AMG Mercedes C-Class. The circuit north of Dresden has been guaranteeing some of the DTM’s most thrilling races in recent years. This year the 3.478-kilometre track has been slightly modified, offering several opportunities for overtaking and – with its huge grandstands – a fascinating atmosphere. In addition, Susie can look forward to tremendous support: Advance ticket sales have clearly exceeded last year’s when 76,000 fans filled the stands. “In front of the crowded grandstands at the EuroSpeedway the atmosphere on the starting grid is always very special. I’m sure the fans will again witness a captivating race,” said Susie.

Susie meets Lara Croft

During the DTM round at the EuroSpeedway Lausitz this weekend Susie has a very special commitment: Saturday night the Mercedes racer will meet the world’s most popular action lady, Lara Croft. Karima Adebibe, who portrays the video game and advertising heroine, will visit the DTM paddock. “Time Magazine“ voted Lara Croft one of the most important personalities worldwide – now the two power ladies are going to briefly meet each other in the pit lane.
