Motors TV July Highlights

THE LE MANS SERIES RETURNS!

Just two weeks after the Le Mans 24 Hours there will barely be time to catch your breath before the Le Mans Series championship returns for round 3 at the Nurburgring in Germany. Peugeot, with their 908, are looking to maintain their unbeaten record so far, but Pescarolo Sport will be hoping to raise their game to provide a stern challenge in LMP1. In the GT1 class meanwhile, the battle between French teams Luc Alphand Adventures, Team Oreca and Larbre Competition will resume with the same ferocity as before.

As well as watching the full race LIVE, fans can tune in early to catch more live action with the fourth round of the Peugeot 207 Spider Cup. After screening 50-hours of LIVE coverage from the Le Mans 24 Hours, Motors TV remains the channel of endurance sports car racing!

ALMS

The beginning of July also sees the return of the American Le Mans Series (ALMS). This season’s championship has been marked by the battle between the P1 Audi’s and P2 Porsche Spyders. Audi are keen to re-assert their supremacy, but with the tight and twisty circuit for Round 6 at Lime Rock Park more suited to the nimble Porsche’s, it should be a fascinating race. In July Motors TV will broadcast highlights of Round 6 and Round 7 in Mid Ohio.
