at Brands Hatch 8-10 June

The Lotus on Track Elise Trophy will be supporting DTM (German Touring Cars) at Brands Hatch over the weekend of 8th-10th June.

This is a really exciting opportunity for the series at one of the biggest race meetings in the UK and within 6 hours of the announcement, with only just over a week's notice before the race, it was already oversubscribed and will field a full grid of 32 cars!

On 19th May the Elise Trophy headed to Oulton Park in Cheshire, for round 3 of the series. Oulton is one of the most challenging and rewarding circuits in the UK and once again spectators were treated to uninterrupted action with thrills and spills and plenty of close racing throughout the field. 27 cars lined up on the grid for the first (scratch) race, with the 2nd (handicap) race again proving a hit with the crowds as the faster cars (starting from the back of the grid) chased down the rest to leave the whole field bunched up over the last couple of laps.

The Oulton Park races will be televised on Motors TV (Sky channel 413, Virgin 545) during June, first showing 8:30pm Friday 8th June.The Brands Hatch races will be followed by visits to Silverstone (16-17th June), Castle Combe (15th July), Donington Park (1st-2nd September), Spa Francorchamps (12-14th October) and Brands Hatch (10-11th November).
