Scrap Speed Cameras Week begins on 24th

The Safe Speed Campaign proudly announces national 'Scrap Speed Cameras Week'starting on 24th June 2007.

Paul Smith, founder of SafeSpeed.org.uk, said: "Speed cameras have failed as a road safety policy. Department for Transport has disowned them. We now must scrap them for safety's sake. At best failed road safety policies waste life saving resources, but with speed cameras the problem is the 'collateral damage'caused by the side effects."

"Our message to motorists is this: 'It's time to make yourselves heard. It's time to end the madness. Watch the press for details of "Scrap Speed Cameras Week".
