at Oulton ParkGary Britnell will return to the Porsche Carrera Cup GB at Oulton Park this weekend (23/24 June) for rounds nine and ten of the championship. Gary, elder brother of pro-am category contender Andy, will race a fourth car for the Motorbase Performance team after a break of nearly two years from racing.Britnell was a Carrera Cup regular in 2004 alongside his brother but has only done one or two races since then, and is now eager to get back into the Carrera Cup. He had a brief test at the Cheshire track on Friday and will now go forward to the pre-race weekend test this coming Friday.Britnell will join his brother Andy, overall championship leader Steven Kane and Sam Hancock in the Motorbase squad.Team boss David Bartrum has arranged a deal to use the car that Rob Collard raced earlier this season for Team Parker Racing. "We would like to run four cars for the rest of the season," says Bartrum. "It's great to have Gary back out racing with us again. We go back a long way together and he's a great guy to have around."
