MOMO UK’s young gun increases his lead with another win
MOMO UK’s Daniel Brown (15, from Billericay) cut a swathe through a rain-soaked Cadwell Park on Sunday, claiming pole position for both the days races, before backing up a second place in race one with a superb victory in race two, to consolidate his lead in the T-Car championship.
In fact, such was Dan’s determination on Sunday that he twice fought back from poor starts to post fastest laps in both races, and with fastest lap times in six out of the seven races so far helping him to three wins, Daniel’s consistency has seen him open up a 21 point lead in motorsports ultra-competitive proving ground for 14-17 year olds.
Commenting on his successful weekends work, Dan remarked; “Cadwell is quite a demanding track to drive, especially in such wet conditions, so overall, I have to be happy with the results we achieved. If I can keep this up, I’m certainly going to be challenging for the title.”
There’s no time for Brown to rest on his laurels however, as the series returns to Castle Combe on the 15th July, but for more information on the T-Car series in the meantime, go to tcars.net.
