This weekend the new DTM will make its début at Mugello (Italy).

The circuit 30 kilometres north of Florence has a length of 5.245 kilometres, making it the longest on the DTM calendar.

“Although I’ve never been at Mugello I’m looking forward to Italy,“ says Susie Stoddart, who in her TV Spielfilm AMG Mercedes C-Class is shooting for her first points in the new season. “The people there have a huge passion for racing, which makes the weekend very special.” Nevertheless, the quick Scotswoman knows that this venue will not be easy for her team-mates around Mika Häkkinen: “The Audi drivers tested there before the season, so we need to quickly make up for this gap in experience.“

Due to the Tour de France the race will not start at 2 p.m. as usual, but at 5:35 p.m.
