A Great & British World Record - The icon returns to Donington Park on 5th August for the
Dunlop Great & British Mini Festival
Dunlop Tyres are appealing to all Mini fans to join the celebration of this ‘Great & British’ car, by taking part in a once in a lifetime opportunity of breaking the current Guinness World Record for the ‘Largest Parade of Minis’.
The current record held by a group in Virginia Beach, Virginia (USA), stands at 273 and the Dunlop Great & British Festival organisers are expecting to beat this convoy with over 300 Minis on the circuit at Donington.
Lisa Davison of Great & British states: “The Dunlop Great & British Mini Festival will be a true celebration of the ‘Great and British’ car, both in motorsport and on the road.
“A big part of the event at Donington is to make it into the history books by breaking the current world record for the ‘Largest Parade of Minis’. We are appealing to all Mini owners with both the classic and new shape Mini to participate in the remarkable parade to shatter the current record,” adds Lisa.
The Dunlop Great & British Mini Festival at Donington will be the ultimate Mini-racing event. On the bill will be the festivals core championship, the MINI Challenge and guest races include the legendary Mini Se7ens and Miglias – making this a gastronomic event for hungry Mini fans.
Mini owners can take advantage of a 2-for-1-ticket offer by visiting minichallenge.co.uk/2for1. They will also be given the chance to show off their treasured classic or modern Mini in a specially designated showground, allowing thousands of fans to view the display.
