Latest Press Release from the Midland Automobile Club – postponement of the meeting dated 17, 18 & 19 August 2007.
As many already know the inclement weather conditions have taken their toll on the Worcestershire/Herefordshire countryside and Shelsley Walsh is no exception. During the night of 20th/21st of July damage was sustained to the hill infrastructure that prevents the running of the Shelsley Walsh event of 17, 18 & 19 August 2007.
Subject to MSA and competitors' approval, we are attempting to run the postponed British Championship event on October 6/7. This meeting will include some of the cars that would have run to celebrate the British Hillclimb Championship 60th Anniversary and a class for ex-champions. Subject to approval we will be putting on a great show and an ultra competitive event even at that late time of year and this will wind up the Nicholson McLaren Aviation MSA British Hillclimb Championship season for 2007.
Further details will be announced closer to the date.
We plan to run the September meeting as already scheduled.
