Maxi Jazz successfully combined a live stage performance at 'Global Gathering' with racing in the Porsche Carrera Cup GB at Snetterton over the weekend (28/29 July).Straight after testing on Friday Maxi flew by helicopter to Warwickshire to star at the concert with 'Faithless'. He then flew back to the circuit late on Friday night to be ready for qualifying early on Saturday morning. Feedback from the concert reported that 'Faithless' was one of the star acts.However, a substantial shunt towards the end of testing left his Porsche damaged and the Red Line Racing crew worked late into the night to get the car rebuilt in time for qualifying. "I've had a brilliant weekend of racing," said Maxi. "I had a good battle with Iain Dockerill and I've gone quicker than before. I'm really looking forward to racing at Brands next time."
