After months of consideration and discussions with many friends RC Roper will guide the USA Sprints into a whole new direction. USA Sprints will now use its website for all Florida Sprintcar Racing news, results, pictures, stories, driver profiles along with updated schedules, point standings and a message board for each Sprintcar division and or club including Mini Sprints and Three Quarter Midget Racing.

This descision was brought about by the ongoing health related issues that has predicated RC's retirement from active competition  & Series Promotions on a regular basis.RC also made it clear that "he will do this to the best of his ability as his health permits."

Having made this statement RC also states that a full recovery is not out of the question so his doctors now tell him and racing will always be at the forefront of his dreams. Even though this is the situation Roper will not rule out a return to the seat in the near future but he has ruled out any return to organized promotions and Series management. RC states "I will leave that up to the experts at hand."
